Ancala Partners is an experienced and entrepreneurial investor in critical mid-market infrastructure.
Our unique approach combines differentiated investment sourcing with active asset management, which enables us to develop assets for the long term to deliver superior value to our investors.
Ancala was founded in 2010 as an independent investment manager owned by the partners. We invest in a broad range of infrastructure subsectors, a focus on assets which have downside protection and strong earnings visibility.
We primarily focus on proprietary opportunities which have arisen from unique situations. We use our deep sector knowledge and operational capabilities, combined with our strong network developed through decades of operating in the infrastructure market, to source unique investments and create value over the long term.
We are an active asset manager partnering with management teams to develop companies, devoting expert attention to strategy and operations, encouraging management to think differently about opportunities and providing specialist capabilities and capital where necessary.

As an investment manager of essential infrastructure assets, we recognise our role in contributing to the global sustainable agenda as set out by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and supporting the transition to a net-zero emissions economy and the goals set out in the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change and recommendations of the Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures.
Ancala has been a signatory of UNPRI since 2018.
